the CATS bus

this little cab takes me to and from class in no time flat. plus you never know who you will see/meet on the bus.
i recommend if you have nothing better to do, you should ride the CATS bus around athens, it's a nice little tour.

super comfy beds

I'm certain that everyone who reads this blog can relate to how wonderful it is to climb into a super comfy bed after a long day. Unfortunately, my bed in my apartment is not nearly as comfy as many other beds i have slept in, but it still feels so excellent to feel those alligator sheets wrapped around me.
I feel as if i should bring up another simple pleasure: falling asleep next to someone.
to quote myself at Abrio's last quarter: "It's really nice sleeping with someone you really like."

Yellow Shirts

"I wake up in the morning
Put on my yellow shirt
I get a bite to eat
I go to work"
-The Moldy Peaches "Jorge Regula"

I bought this yellow shirt about four years ago, back when I was still in High School. While all the kids were slobbering over Abercrombie and Fitch logo tees, I was perusing the solid t-shirt aisles at TJ Maxx. I never thought of how much this shirt would brighten up my day when I first bought it, but after a few wears I could feel that whenever I put my yellow shirt on I was destined for a good day.

Today I woke up in a bad mood. I did not sleep well and since we sprung forward it was still fairly dark outside . When I got out of the shower I put on a baggy t-shirt and a zip-up sweatshirt and headed out into the world. After my first class, I returned back to my apartment for a quicky nap. When I woke up this time, I found the sunlight shining in on my bedroom and a warmish breeze was trickling through my window. I could not put on my sloppy attire from earlier in the morning, I had to wear something that reflected how I felt about the sunshiney day. I immediately found my trusty yellow t-shirt and headed off to class.

Thank Yous

After being inspired by Elodie's Thank You Club, I have decided to list something that I'm thankful for.

Being Employed

I know it's not a very significant job, but it provides me with money that allows me to gain a little bit of independence from my parents.
